Tickets only $10 at Ticketmaster.com and the River Center Box Office.
It’s our 2nd of 3 opportunities to get a team back in BR. Game 1 attendance was 6,295. Let’s keep it up!
Game 1 was an exhibition contest and did not count toward the league standings. These next 2 will be regular season games that will count toward the FPHL standings.

Same! I’ve been studying up on the league. It definitely seems like they’re moving in the direction of an entirely southern division with potentially us and the Virginia team coming in next season.
I love how they’re going after the available old ECHL I-10 markets.
Maybe we’ll get a little taste of the old ECHL with this new league

Baton Rouge Hockey has actually hired their first employee. John Kliment is the Social Media Director for BR hockey and he puts out a podcast every so often in anticipation of the 3 games that BR is hosting.

There is a whole bus trip coming up from NOLA for this game.
Also several folks coming over from Lafayette.

Parking garage adjacent to the river center. If you don’t want to pay, street parking in the neighborhood to the east

For skill level, yes, I won't be the greatest, but with the high level of skill across all levels of hockey these days it will be pretty good.
It will be entertaining, I guarantee it, and that's the selling point. Entertainment.
Probably a few guys will drop the gloves too.

It is still fun. My wife has only been to one NHL game her entire life (game 2 of this past SCF, so she’s ruined forever lol) and has commented on how slow these guys are compared to the NHL.
She is still saying the product in BR these past two games is her favorite sport to watch live.
Is it NHL level? No, of course not. Is it something that people may enjoy? Sure, of course it is, because we are talking about guys better than your standard adult league that give a frick about what they’re doing.
And I’m fricking pissed I missed the first fight in the 2nd lol
