We'll definitely find out either way.

Lol if you think THIS hire is going to get anything but public praise from players, talking heads, etc.

Quinn can’t get on the headset and say “run the ball dumbass”?
Because of Quinn.

I’m not touching any of the crap about Morris, I don’t discuss political stuff online and the conversation has devolved into the currently percolating political crap, but as far as Belichick, I think you are going to find that it doesn’t matter if he’s black, white or fuchsia, nobody is going to hire a soon to be 72-year-old control freak who will want to be GM too and has never done squat without the GOAT quarterback at least as far as winning rings.

Shanahan isn't the one who went into a soft zone defense in the middle of the third quarter even though his gameplan was working. That was even more egregious than Shanahan calling pass plays. That soft zone bullshite cost Quinn several games, none moreso than that one.

But Shanny was responsible for passing while they were cruising in the 4Q and leaving time for Brady. He should of just went clock control, kicked the FG to go up 3 scores, and hoist the Lombardi.

I’ve seen some underwhelming hires in my day, but never to the level where fans and media outlets jump ship immediately. Usually they will twist the narrative to make it not seem like a bad hire, but based on what I’ve seen,
People around ATL are done with the falcons after this hire and embarrassed.

Andy Reid was an underwhelming hire when Philly hired him. Just sayin.

And most of these "sexy" hires of the hot assistant flame out more often than they pan out.

As long as they win, that's all that matters. frick flash and sizzle.

Yeah, b/c social media is always such a great barometer.

It is lacklustre for sure, but I think BB would have been meh at best. Just happy they didn't get Harbaugh.

The true judge of an assistant hire is the reaction of the fans of the team he's leaving and Ram fans are celebrating.

Defensive HC hires are always dicey because they come to the job with a defensive mindset. An offense is something to be controlled, not unleashed, and that conservatism is why they struggle to win. Look no further than the Final Four coaches. They all have a background in offensive football, although John Harbaugh coached both sides of the ball at times.

Raheem Morris is a great candidate to be three seasons and out while the Rams get two free 3rd round picks.

Defensive minded coaches tend to not work out lately. Look at the successful head coaching hires over the last 5 years. The only ones are Demeco Ryans and Todd Bowles. And I’m not really sure how Todd is even being successful
