Doesn’t matter. The op was asking about our struggles, the struggles are not from pitching. FYI I hate our Rotation.

That has nothing to do with why we suck. We have the worst offense in the NL.

Correct, this is the issue.

At the moment. I think that’ll get better. Goldy, Gorman & Walker can’t get any worse. It’s an average lineup. There’s just nothing in it for the future unless Walker figures it out.

Other problem is every other team in the division is on the rise with the possible exception of the Brewers

I agree that the offense will get better and pitching will likely drop. At least SP will drop.

You’re 20th in baseball in rotation ERA. I’d say it’s part of the struggles

Exactly. I think pitching could improve a lot.

Don’t disagree. That’s why I said we have a good 1-3. But again, the offense is the pinpoint problem. We knew back end of starters would be an issue going into the season. We thought the offense would be solid.

Through FA in ‘25? It’s possible

They're rudderless. Their GM wants puppets for managers and their owner wants 3 million to show up for a chance at the Wild Card.

It's been a self-sustaining cycle for a decade-plus now. Shildt showed a spine and was quickly shown the door. New puppet Marmol is in.

A good 1-3. That’s relative.

Are you trolling? The arms have been good to great.

They can't hit. But it's early and they just got Noot back and Edman isn't too far from return either.

I'd say wait and see, most projections had them winning the division for a reason.

This dude here has the thickest glasses for his cards. Thicker than any other poster on here lol. They’re terrible and will probably finish last in the division AGAIN

Nothing changes until a bunch of scouts get canned and Mozeliak get run out of ST Louis. I used to love making the drive up with the kids a few times during the summer. I refuse to give them my money now.

They could sign a big name pitcher like Clayton Kershaw, Max Fried, Shane Bieber or Jordan Montgomery

It's almost as if an organization hits the shittier when it can no longer commit industrial espionage and steal other teams IP....
