Yeah I'm betting a bad batch of fentanyl got all of them while outside watching the game

I'm thinking if they were on meth they wouldn't have passed out and froze to death.

If that's what happened that is, this is a strange story

boozing to nurse his hangover. Xanax could be a big factor here.

That was the first thing that popped into my head. I've had more experience mixing benzos and booze than I want to admit but it's not hard to lose multiple days or a weekend if you go on one of those benders. Checking messages and putting two and two together about the cars outside isn't something that's automatic if you're popping bars and chugging beer

Does it even have to be drug related? They could have passed out drunk and died just the same in those temps

All three?

And what the hell were they doing outside?

Story is odd as hell.

This is about all you need to know. She's saying nothing is adding up, but just from this description it all adds up. Whatever the homeowner was on, he was incapacitated to a point that he didn't hear someone banging on his door for 10 min, then didn't hear someone break into his house, then greets the police with an empty wine glass. Sounds like she's confusing nanchalant with incoherence.

Exclude the obvious misdirection from the cops statement. This wasn’t 3 guys passing out, something nefarious happened here.

This story (for many reasons) doesn’t make sense.

But the main one is, you can’t get “locked out” if you’re in the backyard. Just go to the front yard, get in your car or go home. Or call your fiancé or whoever it is that came looking for you.

They had to have passed out and died overnight outside. Just odd that ALL 3 would have. That’s what makes it interesting. Statistically speaking even if they were piss drunk at least ONE of them would have been like frick it’s cold let’s go home or not died. That’s why it’s weird imo. The fact that ALL THREE died is a little sketch

ok so the game was on january 7th.

they were found on the NIGHT of january 9th.

what in the frick happened on january 8th? NOBODY went over to this house where FOUR people were not responding to anything? nobody checked outside for 48 hours? this fiance requested a wellness check after her guy did not respond for 48 fricking hours? and they presumably knew where they were?

this makes zero sense. i mean the bad batch of drugs things makes perfect sense but nobody's actions make any sense

The comedown from meth, not still actively high on it.

Long periods of sleep, fatigue, slowed heart rate, psychosis.

KC is a major meth distribution hub.

This will be another instance of recreational drugs being diluted to hell and cut with fentanyl. They were probably celebrating the big game with some lines and got zombie-fied. Homeowner zombie staggered into house based on muscle memory, the others stumbled out into the yard, faceplanted and let the Artic blast perform the coup de gras on their numbed and incapacitated bodies.

It's fentanyl - just like hundreds of thousands of other "sudden deaths" rampaging our society.

The media won't talk about it because it's a border/protectionist (Republican) leaning issue and George Floyd inconveniently stopped breathing with enough fentanyl in his bloodstream to drop an elephant.

No joke. What a strange situation.

And whoever mentioned their cars outside would’ve/should’ve been noticed - good point.

I'm sorry, but this isn't making sense. They gathered at a friend's house to watch a football game. Did the friend lock them out of the house? They could never go inside to pee, get some more beer, to warm up, etc?

im guessing they went outside to smoke a cig or a joint

How do people this old just disappear for 3 days and no one asks any questions? How does the HIV researcher sleep for 2 days with a full time job?

Has to be some hard drugs.
