I’m extremely tempted to start dipping into SCO at the open if oil is still hovering around $110/barrel. This price is obviously unsustainable and headline driven. Tough to guess what Putin will do next but I don’t see oil staying at this level for long. Thoughts??

I like the idea but not quite yet.. 150$ oil seems realistic at this point

BofA says if we sanction Russian oil, we'll be looking at $200/bbl

If we truly sanction Russian oil we are 150 easy, if not more.

Oil reversal? shite I'm pissed that I sold most my oil stocks a couple weeks ago before the war. I'm going to miss out on a good run.

Yes, short oil when the affects of these Russian sanctions hasn't flown through supply. The traders are scared to touch oil even in India and China. Urals crude prices are crashing because there's no demand. Buyers won't even accept free freight.

The last time oil spiked they were practically giving 3/4 and 1 tons away. I might make some lemonade if that repeats.

They are going to be forced to reopen all oil/ gas production and restart some of the coal operated power plants ASAP before the November election. It’s the democrats only hope of starving off a total wipeout at the polls.

I thought you shorted things that were going down. Oil is going to climb for a while.

Daniel Turner argued on Wednesday that the price of oil can "easily" hit $150 a barrel amid the tension overseas and warned that if sanctions are ever imposed on Russian oil, which he admitted is "doubtful," the price will soar to $200 a barrel.

$200 barrel oil will send our entire economy into a tailspin.

Thus, Biden will continue to fund Russia's war vis-a-vis Russian oil purchases.

Pressure will force him to reopen everything. Every day production is closed in the US the worse politically it gets for him.

Since that is the goal, I expect it will happen.

Usually when everyone is saying this then it's time to do the opposite

When obama drove oil prices sky high, dubya wasn't in any hurry to get them back down.

I'd be scared to short it at $110. Plus I don't know how to short it
