I hope they have some good patents on the process.

It’s traded OTC. If your brokerage doesn’t support OTC you are SOL.

I trade through fidelity and had to call them to grant permission for OTC trading

LOL I had to put in a request to Fidelity a couple of years ago for OTC trades, bought LVVV. Worst mistake of my life.

I've got 4000 shares.

I'm curious what the top end for this company is.

We'll see. I'm not going to expect a big run until results of final processing released. I'm hoping it stays down a bit longer so I can keep accumulating shares.

I have a hunch based off tid bits of info I've heard here and there that the process may make it easier and more profitable for Lanxess to extract other minerals such as magnesium, sulfur and sodium. Which if they do would essential mean the water they inject back in the ground would be "clean". This would save Lanxess a ton in EPA bullshite and any spills of tailbrine wouldn't be an issue. It would be cleaner than our aquifer. I'm investing in Lanxess as well. They've done a remarkable job of streamlining the bromine and chlorine extraction and costs reductions. At the same time GREATLY improved safety and any environmental issues. I've seen this plant under Great Lakes Chemical, Chemtura, and Lanxess. I've also had plenty of insight into Albermarle. The Germans running Lanxess are heads and tails above any other chemical plant around in every manner, and constantly looking to improve in sound, common sense manners.

Based on the initial numbers on a 72 hour turn around and historic lithium concentrations at a max output of 20,000 tons lithium/year...maybe $10 based on lithium prices prior to COVID. But they have greatly reduced extraction time to just a few hours and the actually concentration of lithium in their brine proved to be higher on their two largest leases than initial estimates. They have about 3.8 million tons of lithium between theirs and Tetra leases without drilling new brine wells. If the turnaround proves to be that much shorter (I want to say like 6 hours but I'll have to look it up), they can basically produce as much as they want if global demand shoots up. Most encouraging for me is that they have far exceeded all expectations. They seem to under promise and over deliver. So, your question is one I've been trying to has out in my mind for the last 6 months!!! Not to mention other projects they have outside of Lanxess. Even the split with Lanxess is variable depending on certain metrics. Initial will be 75% Lanxess and 25% STHLF but can be 60/40 but I don't know what the contingencies are. Lanxess is footing the entire bill for the megaplant and all the Standard Lithium on site project employees work for Lanxess. Standard Lithium just had to fund the experimental and demo plant. It's a very unique set up. Basically almost all revenue for STHLF will be profit. But I can't get shite out of anybody here about it. They are tight lipped. There is ZERO local hype. To me, that's a good sign. But don't buy it based on my hunches and opinions!! But I welcome discussions on potential stock price even if some are based on assumptions and projections of lithium demand/prices.

Read yesterday that lithium demand was exceeding supply. I suspect that part of that was due to covid disruptions, but even our vacuum cleaner is now cordless.

I like the looks of this one. I hope there is a good patent on the process so that it can be licensed all over the world before it is copied.

Electric Vehicle Demand Will Spark Lithium Mining Reinvention

I wonder what impact Musk's mining operation will have. I'm still looking for an article I read that gave projections on lithium demand, but it was substantial. $10.00 is also what I was thinking, but if any good news makes it pop I'm going to start selling peices at $5.00. Daddy needs a new truck. I'm going pick up my wife's Telluride today with the money from my COVID stocks.

I bought 2,500 yesterday and will buy more at $1.30 and $1.10. I had an alert on my phone at $0.85 and didn't buy

Not yet. Seems like a lot of Mondays, someone is placing a substantial buy order and it shoots up, then people starting taking profit as day goes on. Unless a news release is coming or the anticipation of it. It has been almost a month since they shipped the lithium chloride to Canada. I think that news will push it over $2.00. How high? No clue. I'd like a slow drip of info. I prefer it not take off until I've owned the vast majority of my shares for a year. Looking to pay capital gains and not income tax! And I think the Lanxess project could just be part of a much larger market for their process. It would be the most profitable because of the existing infrastructure, but they have rights to geothermal units in California. The brine doesn't have near the concentration of lithium, but they are money losers. Extract the lithium and maybe other mineral with their process which appears to be the only environmentally friendly method of extraction and possibly the cheapest/ton with the concentrations in the Lanxess and Tetra leased. I do know that Tetra shut down their salt plant here and Lanxess has had heavy equipment in the area for what appears to be cleared space for extraction modules. Brine wells already in place. Tetra leases hold about 7-800k tons of lithium and Lanxess's about 3.1 million tons. Original project for 25 years at 20,000 ton/year, but very easy for them to up production and with the faster turn around time from tailbrine to finished, marketable 99.9% battery grade lithium they can easily produce more than 100k tons/year. Or so I understand. I hope it is what I hope it is. Would be huge for the area. Lanxess has lots of connections to E-battery manufactuers. They produce the housing and other components in their plastics division and many of the other minerals needed for production.

With volume so low, a large order can manipulate the price a good amount in either way. You just have to hold a stock like this and wait.

Truth. A large sell can really pucker your arse.
