Anyone else in this?

Desert Mountain Energy: A Way To Play The Worldwide Helium And Neon Crisis By Austin Craig at seeking alpha

quote:

I'm going to make the premise of this article really easy in four points. First, the world is experiencing a helium shortage and Desert Mountain Energy (OTCQX:DMEHF) might be the ticket to play this looming crisis. Second, A large percent of the worlds neon production just stopped via the Ukraine-Russia war. Some sources place this at 50% of worldwide neon production, while others peg it at 90% (if looking at semiconductor grade neon). Guess who found neon gas in wells. Answer: Desert Mountain Energy. Third, DME recently discovered hydrogen. Fourth, insider purchases can be a key event to watch and DME insiders are getting rather frisky in executing options, warrants, and even buying stock in the open market. We will cover this in detail in the article.

I saw the article last night and got in as soon I could at $2.29 this morning but only 60 percent of my Order filled. Closed at $2.69. Oh well. The article does have a lot of information in it and if you are interested in the stock I’d strongly suggest reading it.

Qatar accounted for 25% of the world's helium supply and the land routes have been shut off a few years back causing the shortage.

Plus all those balloons in Dollar Tree does not help.

Any of you baws think this thing sprouts wings? Looks like this thing went straight down from 3.71 back in September. I’m holding at least to year end based on the Well’s coming online late in the year. Unless this balloons. Then I may take profit. If it collapses oh well.

25 minute video from the market mindset describing the helium shortage and how Desert Mountian can be a big player in it.

Desert Mountain potentially big helium field and potential fall/winter production

Very interesting and makes me feel good about my initial purchase. Considering adding more if it doesn’t run too much before I get a chance.

Already missed on this?

ETA: Added it to my watch list. It's approaching the 52 week high again. I'll wait for a pullback to get some.

Report from this morning

"We are thrilled that these wells increase the Helium average significantly above Discovery Well #4's results," says Robert Rohlfing, CEO of Desert Mountain Energy Corp. "This will make the wells much more profitable."
The average Helium spot tests on the offsets were more than almost three times those of Well #4. A pay zone with over 4% Helium in Well #5 located in the Rohlfing Helium Field will also be processed in the same processing facility. These overall levels of increased Helium combined with below minimal levels for CO2 are confirmation of our geologic modelling.
DME is building the first solar-powered Helium processing facility using Hydrogen as a backup power source in North America. The Company's goal is to produce as near to zero carbon footprint, from our operations as possible.

It’s potentially worth a shot, but the last small companies to discover helium in caverns were in Russian and they tried to harvest it without significant experience, ended up blowing up their caverns. Helium and hydrogen in caverns are not to be fricked wity

Anything new on this one. I keep seeing reports about helium being in short supply.

We should find a chicken wing stock because those are definitely in short supply and more important than helium

Not much info holding for now until and see what happens when the wells start producing later in the year.

Here is part of the last press release from May 11th

quote:

Desert Mountain Energy Corp. (DMEHF) (DME) is pleased to announce that Helium concentrations in Offset Wells #5, #6 & #7 were higher than originally found in Discovery Well #4. The average Helium percentage makeup using combined starting flow rates from the offsets was 3.511%. CO2 averaged 0.0201% with the balance of the gas being Nitrogen. These zones were perforated to be combined with Well #4 to create the most balanced level and mixtures of gas to initiate production from the McCauley Helium Processing Facility. "We are thrilled that these wells increase the Helium average significantly above Discovery Well #4's results," says Robert Rohlfing, CEO of Desert Mountain Energy Corp. "This will make the wells much more profitable."
