BFARF-Canadian bitcoin miner about to uplist to NASDAQ

Trading at $6, mines more than MARA or RIOT. Got news today that NASDAQ uplisting is approved. Should trade at $15-20 once on the NASDAQ to get to an equivalent market cap to MARA or RIOT. I bought today as a ~1 month swing trade, likely to exit at $15-20 before they start to use their shelf offering at some point. They mine with 100% green energy which should attract a lot of institutional capital, and the lower per share price will be enticing to the Robinhood type crowd.

Just bought some but realized fidelity charged $50 commission to buy. Hopefully it was worth it. So is there anything special when it comes to taxes on this since it’s on the Canadian exchange?

No. It'll be traded on the NASDAQ shortly so you'll be selling on an American exchange. Even if it wasn't going on the NASDAQ, i've sold Canadian stocks without unique tax implications.

Not as big an issue if you're buying thousands of shares...

Imagine how I felt after I bought 100 shares....

Yeah, it took me quite a bit to figure out why I was .25 higher than I thought I put my order in for

When is this supposed to hit the NASDAQ?

Probably 1-2 weeks from now, last step is confirming their shares can electronically clear.

so you think it will hit 15 to $20 a share when it does? Why?
Posted on 5/7/21 at 1:22 pm to CajunTiger78
It has a higher hash rate and mines more bitcoin than MARA or RIOT but only has about one third the market cap. So that would normalize out at $15-20 per share. That and this is green energy, better management team, better financials than MARA or RIOT.

I even sold some of my BRPHF to get more shares here, hate to do that but have to cap my overall crypto exposure. But i'll be back with 2-3x the dry power in a month or two to buy even more BRPHF.

I think I’ll sell if it hits 15. Let’s be honest the amount of money it takes to continuously upgrade software, electricity, real estate, etc. at some point has to outweigh the benefit of mining. I see the mine Bitcoin. Are they mining all the other cryptos too?
