Now the question is at what price does this open tomorrow?
Glad they took into account our Japan data and its a better time frame for individuals receiving dialysis - 3 months vs 4 months on Dapro. Our product is far superior.

Even still.. 2023 revenues were right around $200M. Considering with pre-market action, the price to sales only around 2.75. Well under the industry average giving it plenty of room to run.
It’s true though that many institutions can’t buy <$5 stocks. So it might need some time.

Not sure why the delay until January 2025. Any thoughts on buyout from CSL Vifor?

I haven’t followed the name as well as you guys have over the last year. No mention of M&A on the conference call, but that’s no indication of anything.
I’m happy holding and might add another 1-2k more shares.
1) cheap on a price to sales basis
2) new FDA approval ($2-3B TAM?)
3) ~2 years of readily available cash

If it were to get bought out people think it would be CSL Vifor who already has a large investment in AKBA.
But, I wouldn't call that a reason to invest. I wouldn't even think about it. If it happens, it happens.

At the time of my original post the share price was 3.17 without this huge approval.
