Is there any current WR down the depth chart that could move to CB?

I thought Lacy might be a good fit @ DB

We can afford for WRs to move to CB. Lacey should be the first as a guy who is over 6 feet tall to do it

I certainly don't think he's a good fit for us at WR.

#3 went to Memphis, which isn't a P5 school. And we got a higher CB than #4 (both were 3-star prospects). But we could have used them, from what I've seen.

depends on the site. On3 says Tenn, wash, TT, and Baylor got better cbs in LA than we did.

We got commits from 2 3stars. That is not how to rebuild dbu. No excuses for the shite talent we have at cb.

TT and Baylor makes me think we probably disagree with On3.

Our biggest issue isnt the 2023 class.

it’s the 2020 and 2021 classes.

We have talented Corners, but they are young and not to mention we seem hell bent on playing 10 yds off. We need to change what we are doing from a coverage stand point to assist the DBs. I would almost say screw it and do what we did at the end of 2021 and just go Cover 0, Cover 1, and occasional Cover 4.

because last year be brought in:

Brooks, Foucha, Bernard-Converse, Garner, And Richardson because we basically had Jay Ward and Major Burns.

and then we had to replace all of them again. we just didn’t hit 3-4 solid starters in the portal this year but we still needed to because it’s very hard to build your entire secondary out of Freshmeen and Sophomores.

Yeah, we really needed MarJayvious Moss

Javion Toviano was probably better than any of the in state guys that year.
Yeah, we want to keep the in state guys, but we’re not gonna get in a NIL bidding war when there’s other talent
