Would making the NIT this year be significant for Macmanon?

I think so. Anything this team accomplishes is significant for McMahon.

It would be but we’re not making the NIT. It’s not like it used to be. Mid majors with good records go ahead of majors around .500.

McMahon has done a good job this year.

The building of the program itself is where the questions lie.

The simpletons on this board cannot distinguish. Wins and losses are as deep as they get.

You know, call me crazy, but I feel like this team is capable of winning out. I also feel like this team could lose out. They're so hard to read...

Non competitive year 1
Competitive year 2

Yea, it seems slow, but he will have to show he can get talent …. Bottom line to me is that this team still has below average talent …. Has to hope he hits on the newbies and transfers next year ….. too many of our players have low athleticism for the SEC , but MM can certainly coach the game.

Williams, Ward, Reed as building blocks I would call an “ok” group, but nothing abnormal or anything to get excited about compared to others …. We will need 4-5 impact players next year … a tall ask.

No. It’s not significant unless it helps with recruiting which it will not. I know it’s not a popular opinion but I think he will turn out to be a good coach and have us in the tourney regularly.
