If he could just beat out a dribbler down the 3B line, I think he’d get back on track. It’s inside his head now.

I hope so not only for the team but that young man has pored his heart and soul into this program. He deserves to be here!

I believe this. There was a shot of him going back into the dugout after one of the strikeouts and he looked pissed.

Brad Cresse was having a disappointing CWS in 2000, until...

I hope Jordan Thompson delivers against Florida in a big way.

He’s gunna come through in the clutch in a big moment. Calling it now.

If wind is blowing out he may yank a couple out in the finals. He’s streaky like that. And he’s been in a bad slump for too long.

The day off will be good for him. Slumps happen, but we'll need him to make some plays at SS regardless of if he gets on base. Hopefully his coaches give him some encouragement today that he is still a cornerstone to us winning this thing.

Pulling for him. You can see how frustrated he is in the dugout. Kid feels like shite I’m sure and wants to deliver. People need to layoff a little.

Yep. He frustrates the shite out of me but I guarantee he’s much more upset with himself than anyone else is

He needs to change it up to get his mojo back.

And stop staring at his bat for 5 minutes.

Listen, Thompson is struggling at the plate but he has the clutch gene so I truly believe that he will get a hit when we need it most.

our 5 CWS games have been against the #1 and #2 teams in the country in ERA and Whip.

Florida is at 33 in both

hopefully that helps
