Having Big Ben in the booth.
These Alabama guys are so bad/bush league.
It’s good to be the king of SEC baseball. Wish ESPN wasn’t cheap on baseball and actually had real announcers for college.

They do, but they are reserved for the games that are on an actual ESPN channel, not SECN+.

They've gotten a few basic calls wrong. Said the wrong pitch count at least twice that I've counted. Pretty easy to not mess that up with it plastered right on the screen.
Also seem to have trouble recognizing pitches. Ill give you slider/ curve miscalls every once in a while but i've heard them call fastballs, breaking balls at least twice...
They also sound pretty monotone. Just dull sounding.

I do. They are making money from subscriptions before they sell the first ad. Disney sucked all the profit out much like many broadcasting companies.
4 billion in revenue before they sell the first commercial. Think about that.
This is the problem with TV. The production companies pay $125 per game for play by play. Just think about that. You don’t get pros for that.

I am not sure of the number, but this season Ben has called very few games. The Orioles had him up earlier in the season to call their games.
This season has easily had the least games called by Ben for LSU in years. I jokingly blamed the poor results on not having him in the booth for LSU more. Have you even been watching the games?
