Van Lith in a boot, right foot for her injury. Mulkey said yesterday she isn't practicing.

Resting her foot until the next game, but wouldn't be surprised if she is out the next game Sunday. Timing of this week's exams couldn't be more perfect for her. Hope she heals and recovers quickly.

Plantar Fasciitis right?

That shite doesn't get better without rest and some at-home PT.

She has plenty of time to get rest if needed. We don’t start SEC play until January 4. We have a fairly easy slate coming up.

December 10: ULL
December 12: Mcneese
December 17: Northwestern State
December 20: Coppin State (Baltimore)
December 30: Jacksonville

Hopefully she can recover quickly but in the meantime, let's get some valuable experience for other players and build depth.

I'm pretty sure she hurt it in the second game at the Bahamas but I;m guessing she wasn't sitting out against Va Tech
You can rest her until sec play opens if you need to

Bottom line is we have two long term injuries of essential players because of that shitty high school gym floor in the Caymans.

She can always get a cortisone injection.

This may partly explain why she was consistently getting smoked by VT's point guard, #5 Georgia Amoore. Van Lith's foot wasn't good enough to keep up.

This might not necessarily be a bad thing. Poa has looked better and better at that position and if this allows her to get more PT and experience, it can only bode well for the rest of the season. Van Lith needs rest for that condition. Nothing else, outside of the PT, is gonna help.

I saw it from one of the player's intagram posts today. I'll see if I can find it, I think it's from POA's instagram post, it's a video not a pic. Hailey said she is "incredibly sore." She also has a brace left hand. Also, Kim mentioned in an interview yesterday that Hailey is not in full practice, trying to rest that foot injury.

That explains a lot. She has been looking slower than she did last year at Louisville. She is constantly getting beat off of the Dribble by whomever she is guarding.

Yes, Hailey slipped on that floor in the Caymans and injured her right foot. Kim said before Hailey injury that we were down to 7 players in the rotation (POA and Rosario). If Hailey is out, we will be down to 6. To keep it at 7, Kim may have to play one or more bench players, POA at PG, and Rosario and Kent may be 6 and 7 off the bench. We're getting thin, our starting 5 will play majority minutes. Hope Kateri comes back soon.

I have it. It is painful when it flares up.

I had it before too, it was painful, it took me 6 weeks to get back to normal activities. Resting the foot, physical therapy & ice helped a lot. Didn't get steroid injections. Hope Hailey's injury is not too serious and recovers quickly. Fortunately, she has access to the best staff and treatment at LSU.

Is she coming back? I was under the impression she was gone. I hope she does come back.
