I have seen Trav and Neal catch this year. Tuesday night was just one of many bad games behind the plate in 2024 for Neal. Trav is by far the superior catcher now.

Again Thompson point was Kling elite CF defense as well as Milazzo handling staff and defense makes it important that they are in the lineup
Yep this is Thompson take ( and he said he has discussed with Coach J
PS we lose Sat vs AM if another CF in lineup cause Kling only OF catch that line Dr they hit in 9th

He ranks 8th on the team in OBP.

These are just stats that indicate he doesn't lead off much in the SEC except for the bottom of the conference (Missouri and Auburn). He also starts more in the non-conference games.

Neither are "superior" but Neal is "better" defensively because his pop and arm are "better" than Trav.
Neal can throw people out. Now, he does have to catch the ball to throw the ball. He def needs to improve his play and if he would, he would be the outright starter behind the plate.
