That was quick. One would figure he’d be given more time to develop.

Tyler Shelvin doesn’t need to develop, he’s a damn good player when he’s right. He needs to take his weight/conditioning seriously.

without knowing anything, i think he's a safe bet on any numerous teams practice squads.

Not a shock. Seemed to be injured most of the time and when he was in never really did anything.

Yeah I'd wager a lot of money it's related to this.

If that dude lost like 40 lbs he'd be making a roster every year.

I watched him a bit on the last game. More times than not on the snap he basically stood up and got little to no penetration. He looked too big and slow. I agree with you. When he's leaner he's getting the push and getting after folks. Hopefully he gets it together.

Bengals blog guys saying he just doesn't move well enough to utilize his power.

Hope he can earn another shot somewhere and take advantage.

I hope he doesn't let this affect his weight and spiral out of control.

It's no surprise. He doesn't have a want. He had rather eat than work. He came to LSU like that and had one good year, then went back to the gumbo.
Such a waste of potential.

No doubt. He would have greatly benefitted from CBK's emphasis on nutrition and conditioning, and made it a lifestyle choice vice a chore.

Development is not a guys friend in the league, particularly with a team trying to win now. Help now or they get someone who can. Someone else can develop him

Unfortunately he's been a big waste of talent since he left high school.
