LSU had four technical fouls today against Akron and won 71-58. Wonder how many were on coach/players. I found this to be an interesting stat.

2 I know for sure were on players
One was a double technical on lsu and Akron players
Sounds like officials weren’t letting any trash talk go on

At least two of them were for "flops"...which is a technical foul now

We also got wrecked on the offensive boards. Dont care to look up the stats but its disconcerting for sure.. esp since we have the height advantage over the zips..

Oh well still covered

if this is true, then I'm thrilled.

Flops are terrible for the game (and not just basketball). I hope refs call a lot of Ts early in the season and this nonsense stops.

They need to give Yellow cards in soccer for flops

Akron did well yesterday on the boards against WKU, who managed only 16 rebounds the whole game. I don’t know that I’ve seen that ever before… I think Akron outrebounded them by 27.

It seems the Zips are just pretty good on the offensive glass

Akron is a very good mid major team. We definitely struggled on the boards but Akron is elite at rebounding. We did MUCH better second half. Great game to gel and get better. Team has looked better last few games

I don’t, it’s just another rule piggybacking a rule that isn’t even called correctly. If it’s not a charge or block play is supposed to just continue, this new rule just gives the refs more influence when you’re not even supposed to notice they’re there.

They should award Arkansas' Jaylin Williams some honorary technicals for all the flopping he did last year

Bingo. That asshat Doug Shows was the one calling all the bs. He's the honkey version of Fred Valentine, who is the WORST OFFICIAL IN ANY SPORT EVER INVENTED IN THE HISTORY OF THE WORLD.

The best officials are the ones you never notice. A great example would be a long time ref named Ed Hightower. He probably officiated a dozen final 4s, and you NEVER noticed he was there, until he handed a free throw shooter the ball and recognized his George Jefferson styled haircut.

Freddy Valentine, and his sister, Doug Shows, think you attend and/or watch the game to see them ref, not to watch the action. And I know dipshit Valentine's name is Ted.
