I’m a Cubs fan, but no way in hell am I going to root against Paul Skenes.
I’m an LSU fan first and root for all former LSU players to be successful. Everything else comes second.

Ive known Hunt since middle school. played basketball baseball and football against him growing up. He's always been diehard Cubs fan.

My sister is a huge Cubs fan. She's hoping Skenes pitches six scoreless innings, then gets replaced by a reliever who blows the game.

I will pull for Skenes when it doesn't affect the Cubbies. Saturday it does, so I can't. If I could script it, he'd throw 5 shutout and the Cubs would win. But I can't, so I'll take the runs when I can get them.
The "I hope we score 7 in the first" was *a little* bit for effect....
