Gutierrez stopped on her way to 1B to delay throw home, but stepped backwards on the tag... can't step backwards towards home between home and 1B.
Called out and runners had to go back. Cost us a run because Sierra would have scored and we would have had runner on 2nd and she would have scored maybe on next play.

I was told that he had issues with Tennessee folks up there on the Sunday game this year. I didn't get to see that game as I was at another college game that day.

The idiot sitting behind home plate was at a baseball game where he wasn't sitting behind home plate, but was sitting above the dugout. He wasn't on TV all the time, so he just sat in his seat and acted like a typical fan.

This is correct as far as I know. I know it's a rule, but never learned why. I just knew to coach my kids to stop or hesitate in that situation, but never go backwards.
