He'll get a few carries early on.

I expect him to take some frustration out on State. They looked very beatable last night.

I assume he's been able to practice with the team despite the game suspensions?

He hasn’t played live football since 2020. I’m not expecting much from him early, but hopefully he can improve as the season goes on and by the end he’s a major weapon.

Guy hasn’t done much at LSU, but I think he is going to explode

Spring practice they were talking about how he was trucking guys now that he is 220 lb. Not just relying on juking dudes.

His speed with JD in the backfield could make our OL look a lot better

I’m worried he will fumble.

If our line blocks like it has so far this year with the lack of creativity in our run game right now, probably not much of anything. No offense to Emery but he has been here on his 4th year now and hasn't come close to living up to his billing. I'm wait and see approach there because honestly don't have much expectation from him this year.

Unpopular opinion: he won’t be any better than Goodwin or Cain. I also don’t think he will be any worse.

Then I don't see why he shouldn't be starting next game.

Hasn't played in almost two years...I'm not expecting much the first game back, but if we had a few plays to get him in space that would be nice.

IF he can get into the 2nd level of the defense, he’s housing it. If the O-line can get the push needed for him not to get hit 4 yards in the backfield remains to be seen. No back is breaking out with the kind of blocking that we’ve seen thus far.

I get it, but he’s only really played one year. He was a true freshman in 2019 (behind CEH no less) and he was ineligible for 2021.

In 2020 he averaged 5 yards per carry with 75 attempts.

I’m concerned with the rust from not playing since 2020, but I don’t really agree with the “if he was special we would have seen it by now” mentality.
