got cable in like 82. You had to pick Cubs or Braves. And the braves park looked nasty

I had adopted the Pirates in late 70s with Tekulve, Canyman, Stargell and Parker. It’s been a long dry spell except for a little excitement in early 90s w Bonds, Bonilla, VanSlyke

Have a few homeplate seats on their website for less than $150

Had I not just gotten home from having eye surgery I'd make the drive

Oh well....

Damn, that's quick. Has anyone gone to the MLB that quickly before?

EDIT: I forgot he was drafted last year. This is quick but not like top 25 ever.

Yeah I think a few have. I know Xavier Nady did. And Wyatt Langford was on the opening day roster this year for Rangers.

There are at least two guys in his own draft class already in the majors.

A lot of NOLA folks are due to growing up with WGN.

I was a big Cubs fan growing up, then we moved to Atlanta, so now a Braves fan.

Exactly.
Growing up in the 80's before Wrigley had lights, you could watch daytime baseball most any day during the Summer on WGN.
