Running a small office pool pickem for the SEC baseball tourney.

Looking for suggestions on a point scoring system to determine a winner.

With double elimination, you could have a team still alive into the next round, but in the wrong spot on the bracket.

So points for correct picks only? partial points for having your pick alive in the next round but in the wrong place on the bracket?

I know I'm over complicating it, so asking for suggestions.

TIA

I would say have everyone fill out a bracket.

Then based on their picks have
+10 points for correct conference champion
+7 points for correct conference runner up
+4 points for correct semi-finalist / does not stack with the +7 or +10
(So a team that makes it to semi finals but does not advance to championship)
+1 for every correct advancement before that?

Idk just a different idea. But idk if the numbers are right.
