Rewatching “walk it off” and I’m so excited about our returning pitching staff.

Griffin Herring had some nasty shite in against wake forest and I can’t wait to see him make batters look retarded! Pardon my offensive language.

Y’all I have a hard time deciding which year of major sports was more exciting for LSU. I have to go with football 2019, but baseball 2023 is right after because of who they had to beat and how they did it. So many players stepped up to overcome what was an almost impossible scenario!

That documentary did a great job of capturing the feel around town after each game, and the uphill climb LSU faced coining out of that loser’s bracket.

Indeed. I'm going to have to get back to my homage to Casey at the Bat about the 2023 Omaha Run

it’s hard to even appreciate how many legendary performances we had in Omaha.

Skenes: Tournament MOP. 15.2 IP 2 ER 21 Ks
Tommy White: Walk off Homer against Wake in extra Innings. Homer against Florida in a 4-3 game.
Morgan: Saved the season on that bunt play
Beloso: Go ahead Homer in extras against Florida. Had a 3 run homer against wake in game 2
Pearson: He made like 5-6 amazing plays in LF in absolutely HUGE moments
Auckenhausen: Made his first start of the season against Tennessee with everything on the line and threw a gem.
Cooper: Gave us 9.2 Inning and 1 ER. Threw back to back nights in must win games.
Herring: 4.2 inning in a must win against WF.
Dugas: Smashed a Homer vs Florida and Tennessee
Floyd: 27 Strikeouts in 13 innings . Tied the tournament record for strikeouts in a 9 inning game. More Ks than Skenes.
Hurd: Gave us 3 shutout inning against Wake after Skenes and 6 good innings against florida. Shook off a rough start to be really good.

The other thing that stood out is how cartoonish our radio personalities are.

guys who got shite on here all regular season stepped up and got us through the losers bracket to win the championship. Didn’t even pitch Skenes in the finals series. Insane job by these guys and staff to get all that out of them when it mattered

I rewatched it last night as well. Whoever did it, great job. It truly captures the intensity as well as the joy of the moment. Totally enjoyed it.

Interesting that the guy missing from your list of heroes is the guy who carried us all season - Crews.

And I still can't believe we beat Florida 2 of 3 without Skenes.

it is interesting.

He had a super respectable tournament

12/32 with 6 BB. 1 HR in a 5-0 game an 3 total RBIs.

Now he did score 11 runs. He got on base like a machine and he’s an elite baserunner.

What was his wow moment? Maybe that catch against the wall. Probably the fact that he was consistent maybe hurts him a bit. What’s the WOW moment?

Thanks for letting me know. Congratulations DanielSon for what had to be a tremendous amount of sacrifice and heartfelt labor to put all of that together. TYFYS!

I thought he was the best freshman we had last year other than Shores.

I don’t know how much upside he has left but if he improves he’s going to be very good.

Don’t forgot Thompson’s redemption against Florida that gave us all of the momentum.

Let's not forget if Brayden Jobert's shot in his first AB in our CWS opener against Tennessee doesn't hit the pitcher's leg, then he hits for the Natural Cycle in his first CWS game. Also liked his flashing "The Sign" as he rounded the bases. Finally it seemed like the whole CWS flashed through my mind as he stood there seemingly forever watching the Jo-Bomb that made the score 18-4 in Game 3 of the Finals.

Have to fast forward through all of the self serving clios of Moscona, Hunt, etc. Someone got distracted and forgot the focus was on the team, not selected members of the media.

Let me add this to the Dugas Stat line...

He drew Lowder out to 10 pitches or so at a pivotal moment in Game 3. Lowder wasn't the same after...eventually, it let to tommy white vs. That rag arm in the 11th inning. Lowder was rolling

Morgan may have save our season on the play, but Dugas turned the tide on the almost unhittable Lowder that night.
