No JD, No Nabers, No Thomas, Future of the Defense unclear.

BK better have a plan or it’s going to be a rough year…especially with Texas and OU coming in.

The schedule couldn’t be any easier.

I would be very surprised if this team next season loses more than 2 games.

This is impossible to predict right now with what I assume to be a new DC and new quarterback who hasn’t had a lot of experience yet.

I’d say if we win 10 games again next year, that’d be a hell of an accomplishment.

This is what the expectation should be every year.

Delusional. We don’t have the roster at that level yet.

We'll have a loaded and almost 3 yrs of college experience at every position on offense. If we add impact wr from portal then it's gravy.

Def is the big ? We need 7-8 legitimate talents added at cb (2-3), s (1-2), mlb (1), dt (2-3).

Usc loses Caleb Williams and their def is worse then ours, crazy as is to believe. They recruit portal just as well as us, so should be favorite going into that.

Ucla loses best player on def and ton of mature guys from the roster. We'll be favored there.

Get bama, ou, ole miss at home.

Arky, Scar, Florida, hopefully atm programs in shambles currently.

Nicholls, s Alabama are wins.

8-4 to 10-2

If we whiff in portal on defense, 7-5 to 9-3

With the expansion of the playoffs to 12 teams, that should be the expectation every year from here forward

2025 should be the NC year but I expect we'll be competing for a spot in the CFP next year. Possibly 2 losses with worst case 3. Really depends on how quickly Nuss and the offense can start to gel. Will have the benefit of a mature Oline and great RB's. We'll find the WR's as the year goes on. Probably going to see a lot more TE receptions with the talent we will have there. Defense should be better. How much better will determine those 2-3 losses. Anything better than that will be gravy.

LSU is on track right now not to have a high enough final ranking in Kelly’s first 2 years to have been part of the 12 team playoff. If they don’t make the 12 team playoff next year it would be a colossal failure on the part of the coaching staff.

If and I mean if...there are no major changes on the defensive coaching side with a proven DC and staff then we can only expect the same dismal production. Also...recruiting background needs to be a major attribute.

If House is there next year then 6-6 should be our target

Bruh. It’s a 12 team playoff next year. They shouldn’t be competing for a spot, that should be a given for LSU football. If they don’t make the playoff it’s a failure.

How many years until we can realistically compete for a championship? For context, we are currently 8th in the SEC in recruiting rankings for 2024.

Kelly has a 10 year contract, if we aren't realistically competitive 1/3 of the way through that contract, that's a problem.
