Pump the breaks on the burrow over mahomes hype

I love burrow he’s the best qb we have ever had here and no doubt I believe he’ll succeed in the nfl. However, people on here were really trying to argue he’s better then Patrick mahomes RIGHT NOW. That’s completely idiotic and the worst case of fan homerism. Mahomes at 24 has already won an MVP and super bowl MVP, the youngest ever to accomplish both at that age. He is a rare talent where it might be stretch to compare other NFL QBs to him making it even more idiotic that fans on this website are actually LEGITIMATELY arguing he’s better rn than the best qb in the NFL

In the end I think burrow will be better. Right now of course he isn't better. Burrows work ethic is second to none and the only qb who has the same competitive drive as him right now is Tom Brady. Burrow is gonna be a special player in the NFL.

Mahomes has much more physical tools than Burrow, that's not a question.
Burrow's success will come because of his preparation and his ability to read defenses. That is his strong suit. Hopefully the offense he runs will feature what he does best.
It's Brees like in that regard. Brees has thrived in a Payton offense. He never would have done that in San Diego.
No one is saying Burrow has stronger arm than Mahomes but Brees doesn't have a cannon for an arm either. I think Burrow is a bigger version of Brees. Brees has always been undersized and has done well.
All the Tom Brady comparisions, I never got those. Brady has a much stronger arm than Burrow and Brady has always been about stretching the defense.

I just don’t see any qb over the next ten years being better than mahomes not only for his talent but situations matter. The bengals are a historically cheap franchise with suspect management unlike KC. Not to mention mahomes can do things simply other QBs can’t do. He’s Aaron Rodgers wirh better intangibles joe burrows ceiling isn’t higher than that

If Mahomes stays healthy, skys the limit.

Problem is that sacrifices talent in other key positions. Dallas may not be able to afford an offensive line with Prescott and Zeke locked up.

He is most certainly not the best QB in the NFL and most certainly won’t be the best over the next ten years

It’s pretty obvious to anyone who watches the nfl mahomes is the best qb. He easily has the most complete package of skills. Elite arm talent, good pocket presence, accuracy, mobility and great intangibles if you don’t think he’s the best qb in fb your either living in the past or being a homer thinking burrow is better
