Hopefully Pete can get things moving in the right direction

Seeing how we really don’t have a true DL coach on the active staff, this can be seen as a savvy move. You are not replacing or demoting anyone and at 82 he will willingly step down in about three months.

I can also guarantee he’s sharper and smarter than another 80-year-old guy that comes to mind.

I agree the lack of continuity on the DLine is the biggest single issue.

For the pieces they have, they’ve virtually done nothing this year and that’s exposed the secondary

Why didn’t we do this before the season started when Lindsey had his medical emergency?

Lol our president is in his 80s and we trust him with this country. I am sure an 80 year old analyst is not going to be bad

This is all Scott Woodward btw

I'm glad Woodward is being proactive here but this eerily reminds me of when Alleva had to step in because of the riff between O and Canada

Brian Kelly has so epically fricked up with his hires that an 82 year old retiree is an improvement. Guys, this is a clown show. And this is nothing against Pete Jenkins, he’s a legend. But seriously, come on.

Bad analogy. Pete is not the senile boss of a crime family

I would not underestimate Coach Jenkins. He improves professionals. I’m damn sure he can improve the shitty performance we’ve been witnessing.
