He was dressed out last weekend also. I think they are just taking it slow. I would bet next week we see him

As Les would say, “He has a hamstring”

Based on Jay’s comments I would say he's a week or two away. He took live BP this week at practice.

Agree. I'd rather they put him on course to be ready for post season. At their current winning pace, they will be a high national seed. No reason to rush him back as they are entering the "weaker" part of the SEC schedule.

This applies to all the others that are injured as well. Dugas is still hurting, that was obvious last night, but he is needed in the lineup at this point. Of course he had some misfortune last night with some sketchy strikes that changed several of his at bats.

Kling isn't a plug and play guy when he returns like Dugas is. He needs reps to continue to develop if he's going to take a starting spot. I think the team has a much higher ceiling with him in RF than Jobert/Pearson but he hasn't reached his potential yet.

Also his speed is one of his best tools and if he just comes back in time for the postseason his role would be as a PR/late defensive replacement. If he can't run full speed then that's negated and he's pretty much not playable in must win postseason games if he doesn't come back earlier to prove he has it

He wouldn’t do us any good. Kling is in bad need of SEC experience so he can acclimate to the talent he is facing. He needs more than good health. If he comes back just in time for the tournament then I would expect him to only be used as a pinch runner or defensive substitute late in games.

If they can get him back for the last three or four series they can give him spot duty and a few plate appearances, then let him start in the SEC tournament when it doesn’t matter. Maybe it will start to click for him.

ETA: YetiChaser, Had I read your post I would have just said, “Ditto”.
