Our fans don't suck

Response thread.
The enthusiasm and unity among the fanbase for basketball is palpable on here. This is what happens when there are concrete examples of a positive vision and direction for the future. It's what happens when there is an air of competence around a program.
We currently don't have that for football, thus the dissonance. Things may look bleak right now, but they can change quickly with some recalibration.

you have no idea how this "recalibration" will cost our program millions and millions and make it very difficult to hire a credible coach. the bull shite going on now with these "LSU fans" will set our program back a decade or more.

If the reports are true that season tickets are down 16%, this mentality has already proven fatal. Shouldn't have been afraid to get into a "bidding war" or to pay Jimbo his $65 million that it would have taken to get him.

Ok Mike. If you want to have a serious discussion about this, this past year the SEC was much softer than the years under the other two. IMO, O's was easily the worst.

Yeah but I did always try to respect him.
I actually respect coach O. That doesn't mean he's qualified to be head coach at a major football power. But he's a good DL coach and recruiter.

Saban never went 9-4 however he did go 8-5 !! In 2002. Is that a good year hell no. It sucks.

I don't, he's a back stabbing a-hole that stole a job he didn't deserve and the end result is our program has turned into a laughing stock vs. what was once considered a premier program.
O is a piece of shite that was arrogant enough to think he could operate this program on cruise control. He doesn't have the organizational skills or mental capacity to be a CEO.
