Nuss at the end

The guy came in and ran plays. The difference in accuracy was obvious because they couldn’t handle the velocity that accompanies accuracy. Daniels looks smoother in his ball handling and elusiveness but Nuss definitely can run pass plays.

Sadly this is true. Neither seem to be able to drop back and make 15-20 yard throws. Everything is dump offs within 5 yards it seems like.

Nussmeier needs to grow up. Needs to spend as much time on his craft as he does worrying about how his eyeblack looks.

Nuss needs to be given first team reps this week and given a chance to start to see what he can do. He came in the game in a tough position then started with a 1st and 15 hole

Nuss’ throws were not impressive either. I think BL was mad at him for him rushing throws and making a bad read on the 3rd down.

problem is Nuss has only played in a few games, redshirt freshman in SEC. Give the kid a break. We have all seen his arm talent and accuracy is better than JD so the kid just needs more live action.
The jury is still out on Nuss, and BK obviously likes the positive yards JD gives us on runs right now. I think that would be different if we an actually run the ball well not just plowing for 3-4 yards.
Give me some jumbo PA plays and lets see if a wr can separate for either QB. Play calling is part of the problem right now.

This people are way too quick to write the guy off and he's barely even played over his career while Daniels has 30+ starts.

That’s with every new QB. The kid needs playing time for experience. He will get better as he plays.

Nuss is not good. He’s been terrible every game he’s played besides a few long throws.
