With the best Offensive line we have had in a while. With the best running back we have had in a while.

Miles failed against Bama. For the 5th consecutive time.

Miles is the only man on the planet that seems to fail to recognize that what works against most teams, will not work against Bama.

All we can do is hope that even his level of delusion and hard-headedness will be shed.

It should be obvious, even to Miles, that the formula is broke.

The game plan (did we have one?) and philosophy and play calling MUST change.

We can only hope he will join the 5th grade girls who clearly see this now.

I thought the gameplan was fine. Bama was just that much better; a matchup nightmare. I liked the play call at the beginning of the 2nd half, Brandon just made a mistake. He seemed rustled on some throws. Our lack of depth in the front 7 showed as the game went on. It happens. Lets move on and hope for an 11 win, one loss season

So when we were up by 3 last year with 50 seconds left in the game it was Miles' offensive philosophy that lost us the game?

3rd and 4th and Chavis. It was the culprit.

i like our chances with next years team at home against the gumps , furthermore with a little luck we can still make the playoffs this season and bama may be facing the defending national champs in tiger stadium next season ....

shite has to turn in our favor one day ....

I agree with you. Playing calling was set up nicely. Just didn't execute a few plays. Move on and hope the dominos fall in our favor. If not, a 1 loss season is still in reach

A Miles defining lesson won't happen until that contract is close to expiration.

We had a good formula for 58, 59 minutes in 2012 and 2014 and for about 40 minutes in 2013.

I don't think Cam is good with young quarterbacks though.

Nothing works against Bama consistently. To win you have to play your A game and hope it's your year.

2013 defense was shite , so that's not on Cam. And the OL quit

If the offensive issues weren't a recurring problem then I'd share your optimism and chalk it up to poor execution. But this happens every year.
2014 offense sputtered against Bama and everyone.
2013 offense sputtered against Bama.
2012 offense gained yardage but few points against Bama and sputtered most of the year.
2011 offense sputtered against Bama twice.

You can blame Chavis for 2012 and 2014 if you want, but it's tough to expect wins when you only score 17 or 13 points.

true - all one has to do is look at who defeated bama in their last three losses - what type of offense did they run - it wasn't the cloud of dust and three yard bull shite. Nick is just as hard headed as Les when it comes to defense against the spread.

You are correct Sir......Ak, Tn, Ole Ms all were able to rough up Bama. LSU was totally humiliated... So 5 years nowhere in the hunt for a championship nothing. Blah, blah about winning record ......if you don't compete for championships it is meaningless. I.e. NCAA basketball tournament

I am a Miles supporter. I do NOT us searching for a new coach. But even though I think he does a fine job in the win loss column, it is painful to watch LSU play Alabama. It is not JUST because we will lose, it is the fact that he doesn't even think there is a problem.

We were not over matched in that game. We just kept trying the same old shite that wasn't working.

You DO NOT HAVE TO BE AN EXPERT to know that if it isn't broke don't fix it and if it isn't working you better fix it!

It amazes me that he doesn't think anything is broke when it comes to our game plan against Alabama! Did he not realize that LF wasn't even gaining a single yard per carry?

What I find truly amazing is he is doing so much right to have one of the finest records in college football in the toughest conf. and still can't see the obvious. That is mind blowing.

only two of the games of those five we were not right in position to win the game. So, to change things based on the fact that they out manned us in a contest or to change things based on those days that you had success, didn't necessarily seem appropriate.

It was actually 3 and not 2 and you're right. He's not going to learn.

He will run first and if that does not work he will go down with the ship. He has not changed and shows no signs of changing. How we sign the receivers we have is hard to understand.

The inability or shear prideful refusal to have a Plan B in place in the event Plan A isn't working is inexcusable for more than $5M/yr.

But there is absolutely no evidence that Miles will stop being stubborn.
