If he's got any juice left, I think Mike McDaniel can get the most out of him. Tryeek and Waddle should draw all the coverage away

I'm no NFL GM but I doubt they just want to flush money away on washed up bums... I expect that they saw a need that OBJ could fill.

He scored a touchdown in a Super Bowl win just a little over two years ago. He’s only 31. I think he has at least 2-3 productive seasons left.

It's better than trying to bring back Claypool, who probably got overpaid to be WR2 at Buffalo. If Odell took a league minimum, that's fine. There is plenty of offensive talent around Miami to have him on and make plays when you have Hill/Waddle/Achane in there too.

Probably a lot of roster bonuses/incentives?

Didn’t he do one of his contracts in bitcoin? I feel like that has to have worked out pretty well for him if he kept it long term. Good to see him getting another contract!

I don’t know anything about bitcoin and don’t keep up with it. I thought I had read that it was up and he had done that deal quite a few years ago so I just assumed it worked out for him in the long run. He could have lost it all for all I know.

I also could be mixing him up with someone else. I know there was a guy for Baltimore or something that did it. Can’t remember how that worked out for him. I just remember everyone thinking he was nuts. Some offensive lineman.

Yeah he was looking great in that Superbowl before he got hurt. He can definitely still be good at 31, but a lot of guys start to taper off at that age and it's mainly his injuries that are more concerning.

But he should have every chance to succeed in Miami. Tryeek, Waddle, Mostert, Achane, OBJ... that's a ton of speed to defend.

It's 1 year $3 mil, with up to $8 mil in incentives that may be unreachable.

That sounds little in the NFL, but 1 year of $3 mil is an absolute shite ton to any normal person.
