Go ahead and leave "It was only Southern, pump the brakes", at the door. That doesn't apply here.

Every single mistake we made in game 1, was fixed. Every one.

The opponent does not matter when it comes to self inflicted wounds.

The entire team popped off. In a PACKED stadium. Showed the fans that there isn't just life there, they're still full steam ahead. Like FSU never happened.

Under Oregon, Boutte would have announced his entry into the portal already. Dude was COMPLETELY different last Saturday. Completely.

Daniels missed him wide open and he went over to celebrate with him for the rushing TD.

Brian Kelly said something to him, and I don't know what it was, but the last two coaches sure as frick wouldn't have known.

When the game progressed , he started staying in his pocket more. Taking his time.

That throw to Bech? fricking BEAUTY. planted his feet and threw a fricking nuclear missile into southerns bloodline.

The game to game adjustments you guys have been begging for every season have arrived.

I have looked at every possible piece of this upcoming game with State, and they are more than likely going straight to the fricking buzzsaw.

You know why Brian succeeded at ND?

It sure as fricking wasnt on pure talent. No. He got them to play as a TEAM.

LsU has not played as a team since Joe Burrow was the head coach.

It's been a me first culture for years now.

We've all wondered at one time or another, "damn, what would it be like if all this talent wasn't wasted".

LSU will be fricking horrific to every single team in the nation if all these future fricking NFL studs start BUYING IN and playing as a unit.

We saw proof of that, just last week. Everyone was on the same page, everyone was positive, everyone was congratulating each other. Our "Diva" WR , who could quit right now and go round 2 at worst, was on the field playing like it was Bama.

That's a culture change. I only wish Brian had arrived sooner because holy shite man. He would have done some damage with the talent we've had.

That 5 star me first attitude is about to die at LSU. Mississippi State is the first of many this year.

I love this, but I still don’t think we make 10 because we just ain’t there yet at mike & across the OL.

I do completely agree with the assessment of week 1 vs week 2, and I think we’re headed the right direction — just don’t think we are quite done with growing pains

Part of me wishes I was sober enough to make this statement

The other half wishes I'd gone to bed an hour and four less shots ago

No. But losing to an unranked team in week one is the silver bullet. Hammering Southern and losing to an unranked team is definitely a recipe for success.

When you watch on Sunday and see things like Burrow to Chase and it’s crazy what they can do. Then you watch the Vikings game and see Jefferson and the announcers say he’s the best player on the field when not only is Rodgers the QB of the other team but they’re also destroying them. Bro we had sooooooo much talent on that team it just seems it would have been hard to frick that up.

I've seen too many alt accounts making troll posts recently. Makes me wonder if it's done intentionally to drive traffic.

I'm Hoping for 8 wins. You put too much stock in a win against southern. Until Daniels plays well in a meaningful game thinking 8 is the most we can ask for.

I can appreciate the enthusiasm, but then again.....SEC west. The hardest division in college football. And we have an up and coming Tennessee game, and our Florida game. Not to mention we already have 1 loss. I don't see how we get to 10 wins on our schedule.

I agree we made the right hire though.

You could say that about most Alabama teams over the past decade as well.

Recruiting is the lifeblood in college football. Coaches shouldn't be discredited for bringing in too much talent, it should be a feather in their cap. Especially when Chase was committed to Florida, Jefferson only received 1 SEC offer and you competed with Cincinnati for the QB (only D-1 school to make a run at him)

Yeah it would have been hard to frick up 2019 but it's wayyyyyyy harder to build that roster and then find a diamond like Joe Brady

Easy now, lets tap those brakes.

I thought 9-3 was a possibility right before kickoff of the FSU game. But was sure 8-4 was attainable. FSU was a wake up call to me and made me realize how decimated we were when Kelly came in. We don't have the secondary or OL yet to even think about 10 wins.
You especially can't say things are all better just from watching the SU game. Now if we dominate MSU, and beat them really bad, then I will give you credit for the estimation that things are all better.
MSU will be a real test and Jayden is the QB and I have confidence in him.
I commend you on your drunken confidence though. JK

BK is a great coach but he can only do so much with what he has. We’re very thin and lacking talent at two key positions - OL and LB. We will improve this year, but so will ever other team.
