Took up for Luke with the reporter “I don’t know what you were watching.

Also said he wouldn’t want anyone else behind the plate than Milazzo.

Seems like a helluva teammate.

Thoughtful, courteous, and well-spoken. Also honest about his shortcomings. This young man will go a long way in life!

I wish during these interview they would give a mic to the reporter asking the question. I hate trying to understand what question was asked based off of the coach or the players response.

Eh, that’s not really how that went. The reporter didn’t say anything different than what little said and the “don’t know what you were watching” comment was more towards a hypothetical person who “didn’t see Luke pitching with a lot of heart”

He’s everything you want in a teammate. He’s also blossomed into a leader for the bullpen, which is what they needed.

Saw him pitch at Texas (last year?) and he was great. Happy to see him lighting it up again.

Seen his fair share of struggles. If that's his game going forward that's huge for us.

Humble, loyal, energetic and driven teammate. Couldn't ask for a better teammate than that dude. I'm extremely proud to see him play at such a high level especially after how much shite he's taken from our fans going back to last year, deserved or not. You can tell he bleeds purple and gold and wants nothing more than to help this team win ball games. Heck of a Tiger.

The kid has been the ultimate teammate the whole time he’s been here…being a great cheerleader even when he was struggling

As a curiosity, why is he wearing a Marlin hat? Seems kinda odd

Waived the shite out of some towels last season in Omaha and now looks like a pitcher with an elite cutter and command this season.

Happy to see him doing well. Obviously he has been putting in the work. He seems to be a totally different pitcher than we saw last year.
