Kelly “Preseason practice, Perkins was not where he is today, from a maturity stand point”

Kelly was asked today about how he knows which freshmen will be able to play in every game. He explained that it’s a lot for freshmen to adjust to attending college and being on their own and used Perkins as an example. LSU coaches deserve a lot of credit for how they develop freshmen. The maturity they have shown on and off the field is amazing!

It’s not. Kelly got called out only a few weeks ago why the hell perk wasn’t on the field. Truth be told he should have been all along.

Kelly gives a crap! And it shows baw! Perkins is prime example of a coach who does! Outstanding young man who is a terror on the field! Perkins will be earning a big payday for all of his hard work to grow as a student and athlete in the SEC.

He said the word immaturity and you ate it the frick up like there was some huge concern that validated why Perkins wasn’t on the field and ready to play this entire year. You didn’t question anything.

You honestly think if Perkins stayed committed to A&M that he'd be having near the season he's having? And in order for our defense to ultimately benefit the most from his presence out there, he needed to evolve beyond "sack the qb when the ball is snapped." And he has. That's largely due to coaching, structure, and other team leaders.

Cool. It was a coaching failure thinking they had justified reasons to not find ways to get Perkins on the field early on. This was all the way up to the ole miss game where it was still a problem.

Kelly clearly has no idea what he is doing or talking about. After all he did take over a team with more than 39 scholarship players that was expected to win the SEC going away. Any idiot could’ve done that.
