Right? Because we have so many established, quality, proven arms that we could be using instead of them. Oh wait...

Loer, Uloa, Coleman, Hurd, and Anderson all should he been on the mound before Dutton & moffet ever saw the field.

Pitching Dutton first and bringing in Moffett right after is just asking to lose.

Has LSU had a legit Sunday starter since Eric Walker in 2017ish? Maybe Hilliard a few years after?

There are a lot of mid-major teams with a better pitching staff. Let that sink in.

Easy answer. No. That's the last time they had a legitimate three man starting rotation.

I feel like the hill, Marceaux, Labas rotation was decent.

Most overrated preseason team in the country.
Embarrassing.

Not quite sure if the pitching coach gets another year or not.
Should be an interesting offseason that looks to start a lot sooner than we hoped.
It’s quite embarrassing not even making the postseason after winning a Championship.
Culture and quality of so called talent should have at least allowed hosting a regional let alone being invited to one.

Well you see the funny thing is that LSU baseball actually seems to be willing to spend bigger money than the football team for the best players.

Skenes and White didn’t come to LSU only because they thought is was the right place for them. Neither did Holman.

Although I’m sure the asking price of these football portal players/recruits is astronomically higher than just about any college baseball player.

That’ll happen when you have a team full of highly overrated pitchers. And it seems to be a yearly habit at LSU. One good pitcher and a ton of Jekyll & Hyde’s to back him up.

Remember when people on this site said we had the deepest staff in the country at the beginning of the season?
Then the Season got underway and we saw first hand why the Astroglide & Mechanical fans were more than happy see Yeskie depart College Station for Baton Rouge.

Oh boy, Yeskie got the Corbin reject to look a little better at the end, but he fell apart right on schedule at crunch time.

Johnson now has one full off-season to throw out ALL of his own garbage and get this thing back to where it needs to be...........

Shhhh don’t disturb the idiot water cooler talk with reality. Let them keep looking like the rantards they are. Fact is we couldn’t hit their Sunday starter. That’s what lost the game and then the PLAYERS choking on Friday lost the series. But let them hang on to the pitching and coaching being at fault.

Yeah against an average Bama offense big damn deal.

Still doesn’t make Dutton a starter.
