Better comparison would be Kentucky.
And imagine a Kentucky football coach making the playoffs two years in a row and winning the sec title…..

Would you really say “we’ll be can’t win a natty”

Vitello is absolutely elite. What he has done/is consistently doing at Tennessee is remarkable.

Someone said they just heard Kevin O'Sullivan either choking or laughing hysterically!!

Vandy football has 9 bowl appearances in their history, has won more than 7 games twice since 1982, and have had 4 winning seasons since 1960. Tennessee baseball had a lot more success than that just under Delmonico

Vandy baseball winning was like Vandy football winning is a better comparison

It’s easier to make a bowl game than it is to make the NCAAT. You don’t even need a winning record anymore

I see you ignored that part about 4 winning seasons since 1960. Wonder why

It was trash for about 10 years. Delmonico was very successful there from the early 90s through the mid 2000s

Todd Raleigh ran it into the ground.

Dave Serrano relied too heavily on the west coast and had a bad program culture.

SEC schools are getting so much tv money these days all sports are elevated.

look how far we’ve come as a basketball conference just in terms of investment in coaches.

There is nothing dumb about what I am “arguing”. Someone made a stupid comment regarding Vitello. I pointed out how foolish it was.

You then started the argument, not me

Vandy football has had 1 season with a winning SEC record since 1959. That’s 65 years. Stop trying to make this a thing. It’s not

You are the one arguing something silly

Compare Tennessee to Kentucky football. That make you happy? Tennesse baseball was shite. Pathetic compared to the sec. That’s just a fact. It was the second worst historically in the entire conference

So to win there consistently is very impressive and judging someone simply by “well they don’t have a natty” is childish when at a program like that

There we go. And could you imagine a coach going back to back playoffs and a sec title for Kentucky football?

Vitello is elite. So is jay. I don’t think it’s even a knock on jay to say Vitello is better at something

I can understand disliking Vitello for some of his antics but he seems like a good guy and he is an elite coach. Lets see Jay bounce back next season

In 2021, LSU’s team BA finished 8th in the SEC.

In Jay’s first year, 2022, LSU’s team BA finished tied for 2nd in the SEC.

What the actual frick are you talking about?
