targeting is needed to protect player safety but they need to adjust the penalty. it should be 2 for an ejection and reviewed nationally, not within the game both of conference

And Mack Wilson had an obvious targeting play that was not called against TAMU

They even looked at it in the booth and said it was not targeting when it was clearly helmet to helmet on the kickoff

It was much worse than the Reuben Foster hit on Fournette

I don't believe in conspiracies, but I'll play to stir the pot.

How many bama players were flagged for targeting and how many were ejected this year and how many reversed?

I'm not looking it up, someone else do it lol

I don't think that's really relevant since it's such a random thing

I think the question should be how many SHOULD have been called for targeting and weren't

Mack Wilson against TAMU should have definitely been called for it early in the game and ejected

The Mack Wilson hit in the Tenn game should have probably drawn a flat just to look at it. Whether or not it gets upheld might be debatable.

I think deonte Thompson was flagged for targeting against Tennersee and they reversed it and he stayed in the game.

Has Bama had any targeting ejections this year?

I'm getting so freaking pissed about this crap, I should probably stop looking at the message boards.

Probably just dumb luck to be honest

Some of those had to be legit correct calls

Now if we reviewed it and they were all as bad as the Devin call then something would definitely need to be looked into

If Wilson didn't get ejected in the TAMU game then I doubt it

Also flagged for a felony. Not reviewed in game but will supposedly reviewed AFTER season.

That hit was flat nasty with the crown into the face mask of Speedy.

I'm convinced that Saban's LBs and Dline are taught to launch and lead with the helmet cause it happens often. Jordan Jefferson, Colt McCoy's back, Guarantano, Speedy... at LSU, I'm pretty sure the line speared Oklahoma's QB Jason White a few times in the championship game. I'm sure there are more, but that's just off the top of my head.

Mack Wilson has a history now of leading with the head and launching against 2 teams this year and taking out 2 players Speedy and Guarantano.

Reuben Foster is another LB that comes to mind as one that would fly down and launch his head at people on kickoffs and on tackles.
