They aren’t making OKC. Have you been watching the hitting especially situation hitting?
TP would need to go on a huge run and frankly they just don’t have the depth.

This team has been running on momentum both positive and negative all year. They started out 25-0 coming up with clutch late game performances one after another. Then Coffey went down, they lost a couple to Ole Miss, and they lost their confidence. Suddenly, they started losing more games late than they won and lost 6 of 8 conference series. The truth is they are neither as good as they started nor as bad as their conference record would suggest. If the wins the last two days can spark their confidence and bring back the positive momentum, they absolutely can go on a run. They’ve proven they can do it before.

if they play like they did earlier in the year they can make it. Beating Tennessee was a nice sign they may have turned the corner back to playing good softball

Not sure why they need depth. Is someone getting injured. The pitching rotation is on.And we have in my opinion the best outfield in softball.

They are topnotch.Berzon and Lynch are two of the best.Chaffin is good as well.Newland should be MVP.Our infield has one weak link but even they are getting stronger.

He isn't wrong. Sure there are no guarantees, but if they do host the supers it will be a huge advantage, assuming they get there. They would likely be favorites.

They have some of the best pitching in the country, and TP is getting hot again at the right time. Confidence is everything in sports. I don't have to tell you that though, you seem to know it all.

If a tree falls in the forest and nobody is around to hear it, does it still make a sound?

As far as both softball and baseball go, you only need to be hot the next 2 weekends. None of the rest matters.

Her first team in 2012 batted .220 for the ENTIRE SEASON. They got swept at Kentucky the last series of the season. They lost 1-0 in the first game of the SEC Tournament.

But they won the regional at A&M with timely hits and incredible pitching, then did the same in the Super at Missouri and Voila--WCWS.

I don't know if that will happen this year--but it isn't impossible with this group of players.

I will say this--if we DO make it to OKC, we should look back to the Alabama game as the catalyst. This team looks like it's having fun again, and some of the big hitters are starting to warm up again. I think they are getting their confidence back.

The pitching staff held the number three team in the country to seven runs in four games this season. They may not hit much better but the timelines of the hits they get are crucial. Runs will be at a premium so they can't lose them over unforced errors like stopping and taking a back step running to first base. Seems like a dumb rule , but gotta know the rules.
