Give him the damn ball on Tuesday! Let him redeem himself.

Let’s umm not do that. Jump or Holman is getting the ball. UGA can hit the ball. Need to get at least one win to solidify our spot

Whatever he threw on his last pitch in the 3-2 count did not sit well with CJJ

Should seriously think about walking him each AB.

Yep even the commentator said that was not the pitch to throw on a 3-2 count

Throwing 3-2 offspeed pitches when up 6 runs with no one on base, and one out in the 9th inning doesn’t sit well with me either.

Not sure who is to blame for that one, though.

Holman pitched on Friday.

Get real.

People keep pointing to Jump. I don't think he is throwing on 4 days rest after throwing on only 5 days the week before.

So you think Holman can pitch on 3 days' rest?

Here are the pitch counts for each pitcher we used this weekend.

Luke Holman threw 96 Pitches on Friday

Gage Jump threw 83 Pitches on Thursday

Nate Ackenhausen threw 62 Pitches 21 on Thursday, and 41 on Saturday

Fidel Ulloa threw 45 Pitches on Saturday

Griffin Herring threw 33 Pitches, 10 on Thursday, 23 on Friday,

Christian Little threw 30 Pitches, 15 on Thursday and 15 on Friday

Thatcher Hurd threw 27 Pitches on Saturday

Justin Loer threw 26 Pitches on Saturday

Gavin Guidry threw 20 Pitches, 14 on Thursday and 6 on Saturday

Samuel Dutton threw 17 Pitches on Saturday

Kade Anderson threw 2 Pitches on Saturday

I could see Jump going days ahead of schedule but I could also see Jay going with someone else, just not sure who. Probably on a short leash, particularly with any of the less experienced guys.

I think they need that one win at least to breathe easy about a tournament invite

Looking at those pitch counts, it looks like our options are Little, Dutton, or Anderson?

I think Jump will get the start and try to go 3 strong innings. Tuesday is a must win to insure getting in.Then look out in our regional with a rested staff

Same here.

Seems like Hurd's best outing since Omaha.

This is the only time of year he shows up. Best time to get it all together though! We’ll need him to have a great outing next time out and hopefully he gets the opportunity
