re: How pissed off do you think Scott Woodward is right now along with President Tate?

If this is going to be a thing then they need to find a way with anthem scheduling for every school to either be out there or not.
What happens when some little something ruffles their feathers and athletes start kneeling again. We’ll have to suck it up because they have the right.

That’s unfortunate but I go back to my original point, absence is not intended as a protest or disrespect.

I was actually expecting there to have been a Statement released by Woodward or Tate by now. It is disappointing that one has not been made to push back against this stupidity.
What they gonna say? The team doesn’t come out for tha NA at games because we have a bunch of kneelers.

Ya know, I don't really think the governor should be wading into it, but it's also a completely dumb unforced error by Mulkey. The entire, "whoops, we didn't know" argument is obvious complete nonsense. And, you'd have to have been born this morning to now know the recent history regarding sports and the anthem.
What?
Shes knows exactly when the anthem is, and preparing her team to win a game is more important than appeasing some mouth breathers.

For decades upon decades, teams in all sports managed to succeed while showing up for the anthem. A team that PLANS to be gone during the anthem isn't doing it by accident. Mulkey's smart. She simply came up with an answer other than, "well, my team doesn't like to be out there for the anthem so we intentionally build a routine we could use as an excuse to avoid it."
Me personally. I really don't give a frick if they show up for it or not. But pretending they aren't doing it on purpose is just gaslighting. If it's important enough to them to skip it, then they should just say so.
Pretending their reasons are game related is just silly.

So you'd prefer this story blow up even more?

I prefer people not lie about their motivations.
They apparently make a habit out of skipping the anthem. It got noticed which frankly, anyone could foresee would eventually happen.
Have some intestinal fortitude. Don't try to be Rosa Parks but then when asked about it say, "whoops, where was I on the bus? I didn't even notice".

The silent majority agrees with Landry, they just remain quiet for fear of being chastised by the flaming liberals.

This is dumb. They dont play the anthem right before tip, just like in college football teams havent been out there for decades.
Guess they are doing it on purpose too?

Huh? Hypothetically speaking, if Mulkey does her pregame schedule on purpose to potentially avoid any issues with the anthem, she is doing that to protect her team and keep the focus on basketball. She isn't trying to make a statement at all.

Oh boo hoo. Some of the girls who don't want to be out there might actually have to deal with the backlash. Welcome to adulthood.

Sounds like the “silent majority” are a bunch of pussies.
The reality is that even in this extremely conservative message board, most posters are smart enough to recognize that Landry is the pied piper of gullible mouth breathers and ran on a campaign of lowest common denominator talking points to appease his base. Things that a governor should not be wasting time on.

Funny how the governor never had anything to say about all this when he attended a LSU home game a few weeks ago. I wonder why now?

I'm just saying that people, not me, feel that not being out there (for whatever reason routine or not) is a form of disrespect.

You are just completely making shite up with absolutely zero knowledge of the situation to try and fit your narrative. You’re a frickin moron.
