Little was shaky but had done his job for 4 outs. But when they brought him back out again 4 /5 of the next hitters were lefties. I understand not wanting to burn Herring there and Loer is too shaky. Gotta go to Ack there and secure the win. Jay showed last week that he doesn't care to give Ack time to work through struggles and try to go deep on a Sunday anyway, so why try to save him for a start?
If you do that and win then you have Herring available to close out tomorrow if you have the lead and you likely either go into Sunday having already won 2 or have a completely fresh Herring to start a rubber match on Sunday

Hindsight is 20/20. jay was trying to win with his best options and didn t work out. Thats baseball and it sometimes doesn’t. Plenty of blame to go around on the team. I hate it for jump as he was great tonight but don’t blame one person or one coach. There was plenty of blame to go around .

Season was on the line, you go to your best guys like he did. It just didnt work tonight. The margin for error was too thin for this group. Gotta start better than 3-12

Uhhhh .... no , you wanna go to mr hey im gonna walk 3 batters and give up random home runs screw that let his leg heal and bench ack he didnt look comfortable last start so ...no, i say give the kid another shot Anderson is the clear choice
