CSB: my 15-year-old recognized him when we were shopping for some swim trunks at TJ Maxx in Atascocita. Asked for a photograph and Jelani was totally humbled by it.
Talked to my kid for a solid 10 minutes and was as delightful as a young man as you can imagine.
He’s 10,000% high on LSU and said he regularly stays in communication with all of the recruits coming in and a lot of current players. Said there are some absolute fricking studs headed to Baton Rouge… that Bryce Underwood is the real deal and Caden Durham is every bit as advertised.
I am very excited to have this young man coming to Baton Rouge!
And yes, for the assholes who will probably say something. he’s not very big. But good luck trying to catch him.

5 + freshmen need to step up and get on the field, especially on defense, for this team to make the playoffs.
