Mike Elko and Texas A&M are working to finalize a deal to hire Moffitt to run the Aggies' strength and conditioning program.

Moffitt had been working private sector since his exit a couple years ago from LSU.

One of the greatest S&C coaches to ever coach in college.

Been a part of 5 National Championship teams.

That would be a huge hire

It would be a huge hire. It would tremendously help LSU stay ahead of A&M.

You can believe that if you want. It’s simply a guess.

Moffitt is tried and true. Proven. He’s a great.
Flint is in his first big S&C role.

And we had such a great Head Coach who was managing such a great program those last couple of years. I wonder what happened?

Doesn’t he make good money running his own business now. Wouldn’t imagine he’d make enough more money as a S&C coach at his age to want to have a boss with the day to day schedule it entails.

Lol, you never stop being a S&C savant. The gunman body is what it is. A&M is about to get physical.

You say that but what if the blame is more because Coach O didn't care so the players didn't care. Therefore Moffitt may very well be "over the hump" but he worked out so well over the years. Accountability has to be part of why things went south.

Once again aTm shows they covet everything LSU has or had.

That would be the logical thinking, due to Moffitt’s 20+ years of success.

Now, let's compare this years defense to those Moffitt trained.

So either he magically forgot how to do strength and conditioning, or, the physiology of athletes changed in 2 years.

Neither one of them are a likely possibility, don't you think?

Perhaps it's more likely that we had shite coaches and perhaps that, rather than strength and conditioning, was the cause of the teams unsuccessful 2 years?

No, no. It must be because the guy who is about to take over another p5 program simply had no clue what he was doing. Yes, that must be it.

everybody take a breath.

Any decent S&C coach will have their guys in good shape.

The top S&C coach in the country (whoever he is) doesn't magically transform his team.

God-given skill of the player, scheme, development, and work ethic are 99% of it.

The delta that one S&C coach provides compared to others is negligible.

Downvote away.

Was Gayle Hatch unwilling to move? Or did he want too much money?
