Better than a sharp stick in the eye, right?

of course it does, especially with a win against Oklahoma or similar team.

That plus a top ten ranking? That's a very good season by any measure. Pair that with the preseason expectations/predictions of 6 or 8 wins and i don't see how anyone could be upset with that. Of course they will be upset anyways..

Everyone thought they’d be 6-6 to 7-5, so 10-2 and the Sugar Bowl is vastly exceeding expectations.

I wouldn't count on a 10 and 2 season at this point. The wheels may have come off.

Lol. Save the season. I think so far it's been a pretty good season but many in here will say we are LSU and we expect championships. Believe me I want championships also but it's takes time to rebuild so yes I would take your scenario.

That's an amazingly dumb question.

Given the expectations this season, 10-2 would be a hugely successful season.

You bottom line fans are the worst.

You probably say that every time you hit a speed bump.

God, I hope you’re not right.

The season is great. The Bama game reopened wounds of our Offense not being good. They haven't been good all season and we were winning so we were fine with it.

This season has been a hell of a lot of fun:

Beat Miami
Walk Off FG at Auburn
Ole Miss (always fun to beat)
Week of UF game was lots of excitement
UGA was beautiful
Avenged Miss State loss from last season
Bama week was amazing

This has been great fun

What the hell does save the season even mean? We are pacing to finish the season with a better record than even the biggest LSU homers predicted.

From what the "experts" said before the season, 9-3 and a bowl win against an upper tier P5 team should suffice.

Save?

The goal posts have certainly moved. In August we were supposed to be 4-5 right now. I don’t think the season needs to be saved. We are doing very well.

But yes, 10-2 would be incredible.

I would be ecstatic with the record and how they did it with a total shite offense.

Would still be upset knowing with a competent OC we would have finished 11-1 and 12-1 after a bowl or possibly even in the playoffs but meh why be upset when we can settle for 10-2

It's a great season that 95% of college football would be excited about.

Considering almost everyone thought we would be under .500 winning percentage, I would say that a 10-2 record does a lot more than just saving the season.

This season has been a lot more fun than I expected. 10-2 would be a great season by any measure, especially if we are able to get a good bowl win to go with it. And all of that with a bad offense. If O goes out and gets a home run OC hire in the offseason, hype and expectation for next year will be through the roof. If not, well....
