figured it was Mississippi State lol.
An earpiece fell out of one of their batters ears at the plate and he just picked it up and put back in like nothing happened. Fishy AF. Also I'm sure with Lemonis on the hot seat I wouldn't put it past them.
But a couple weeks back Arkie's home/road BA split was .306 to .206... exactly 100 points as Schloss mentioned... so most are assuming it was Piggy.
Wouldn't shock me... VanHorn has never been able to get over the hump and aint getting any younger

It’s better not to beg. Let’s move on from this dismal season and focus on bringing some studs in for the 2025 season.
Fresno State was a 4-seed in 2008 and won the whole thing...prior to the postseason they were a 29-27 overall team
Oral Roberts was a 4-seed this past year and went to the CWS, even wining game 1 there
Penn made a regional final as a 4-seed this past year as well
You never just be ok with skipping the NCAAT in baseball. Anything can happen. While nobody would be "excited" about it, making a regional final wouldnt be a bad end to an otherwise miserable year

That would be pretty glorious if it turns out to be true.

In a nutshell, no I do not think we have an argument to get in a regional.
I think alot of the emotion experienced regarding this baseball season is the inability for most to call a spade a spade. Another poster took a shot at ULL's schedule. Well..... they are not in the SEC. Deal with it. As another poster stated ULL played the schedule in front of them.
This is an off year for the tigers. Whether it is poor team chemistry, tough schedule, inadequate coaching, or bad luck, it is what it is.
This tiger team has to pick itself up, and try to move forward! Geaux TIGERS.![](https://images.tigerdroppings.com/Images/Icons/Icongeauxtigers.png)

At this EXACT same point in the season last year Auburn was 25-18 (9-12) (6-10 on the road) heading into a home series vs. #1 LSU.
In comparison, LSU is currently 29-17 (7-14) (5-9 on the road)
Auburn took 2/3 from LSU. They then swept Ole Miss (on the road) and Missouri (home) to end the season. Not only did they make the NCAA Tournament, but they were the No. 13 overall seed and hosted a regional.
I'm not saying LSU is about to go on a similar roll as that, or that if they do they will be in line to host a regional. I'm simply saying that aren't dead in the water just yet in terms of making the tournament...even though their margin for error iof making a regional is pretty much gone now.

I don't think I would go that far. LSU needs 6 wins to get to 13. If three of those come against Ole Miss that's not going to have much of an impact given Ole Miss isn't very good. LSU really needs 4 of the requisite 6 more wins to come against Alabama and (especially) A&M to feel better.
Current RPI
#1 A&M
#15 Bama
#29 Ole Miss
If LSU goes 6-3 against these three teams, their RPI could jump enough to get in (or be damn close) b/c that means they won at least 1 series against either the #1 or #15 team in RPI. A win or two in the SEC tourney wouldn't hurt.
