Did LSU play Tulane this baseball season?

because we now treat Tulane like every other in state school and play them on a rotating basis.
Tualne was charging exhorbiant amounts for tickets to the LSU games in New Orleans and forcing fans to buy season long packages to watch online just to be able to see that one game.
LSU asked them not to do that and Tulane refused.
So we give them the same treatment as we give Nicholls to show them “who needs who” in that relationship.

Tulane is being blacklisted by lsu
Tulane wanted lsu to play football on their campus and lose millions in revenue
LSU said no so Tulane baseball gave no tv access for game at turchin and I
Maineri got pissed and took them off schedule

TBH I kinda miss the good LSU/Tulane games. They had some dudes that could play. Guys like Johnny Kaplan, etc

The LSU-Tulane rivalry used to be just as intense as any in the SEC. Fact!

Pretty sure Tulane wanted LSU to play a home and home with them every year and LSU said no we'll put in the regular rotation with all the other in-state opponents and they pitched a fit.

Baseball is the only sport that LSU and Tulane need to play ….however there are to many issues when it comes to a contract….that’s the main reason they don’t play more oftern….older generation wants it but the younger generation has little or no interest….rivalry is dying soon to be dead

"Used to be....:" Yea, 30+ yrs ago. All these threads are started by LSU fans. The Weenies apparently could care less as they've never sold their TS ticket allotments going back 30 + yrs. tulane's student population is, at last count, 85% out-of-staters & is a private school. For a school in a beggar's position, they do nothing but demand this or that & they have zero leverage. The last time their A.D. tried to push LSU, regarding the Winn Dixie Classic, Skip told her to buzz off & pulled LSU from the Classic.

Some of this is true. Some is not.
Tulane played LSU last season at Turchin.
Mainieri was pissed and took them off the schedule though, but he’s gone and so is the AD from Tulane that pissed LSU off.
Jay Johnson and Tulane coach Uhlman have a good relationship IIRC. I’d expect the series to resume next year
