I think Johnson needs to platoon Frey and Neal there for a while. Travinski has turned into a K machine.

Trav is struggling. Not knocking the guy it happens but he’s a big part going forward and has to figure it out. He didn’t forget how to hit or the strike zone.

Frey is hitting .208 and hasn’t hit a home run all season.

Making a change for change’s sake isn’t ever the move

He’s struggling but there is no one else worth replacing him. If we had more hitters, they would already be in the OF.

Sometimes he looks like he doesn't give a shite and is just going through the motions.

We're at the point in the season where you can't afford to sit him for even a game. As much as he's struggling, he's one of the few hitters on the team who can change a game if he runs into one.

so last series vs A&M he was 0-9 and the series before that vs Auburn he was 3-11
and now 0-7 this series so far

so over the last 2 series and this series

he is 3-21 .150

not at all what you expect out of a DH or a 5th year player

He hasn't run into anything in a while.

You could say that for most of our hitters.

Just because he hit a couple homers recently does not make Neal a good hitter. Stop trying to make him DH.

Reality has set in for Travinski that he won’t get a huge payday playing at the next level, IMO.

You might as well get them some experience, because if Johnson whiffs in the portal, they're your power hitters next year.

Not that 1-8 is good, but he did hit a HR that a fan interfered with.

We don’t have any options. It’s Travinski or Travinski.. Maybe Neal against a lefty.

Maybe Travinski will come back to his season average by year end. We can only hope. That’s about all that’s left..

Trav ends game 2 going 0-5
so through the last 5 SEC games he is 0-17

That’s where the coach needs to see and either fix or replace.
