Would put us at 294.78, good enough for 3rd in the nation!! Not bad for a guy that can’t recruit;)

Those are just depth guys, much needed, but just depth
If we ever want to get a rotation like UGA, we need to start stacking multiple elite dlinemen in these classes

Who cares?!?!?! If a portion of this class ends up in the portal a year from now what’s the point worrying about rankings? Let’s take each kid and try to coach ‘em up and keep ‘em at LSU as best we can.

I think one maybe two of the guys will play in the rotation and one or two might RS or develop. But you never know how a kid reacts to a new team, new coaches, new scheme and a new S&C program. You just never know?
But I do agree that we need to focus on the DL and LB positions. Guys like Wiggins, Smith and Perkins. We did have 3 top 20 DTs / DEs committed, but family issues took priority. I hope we try to flip one or two and get another 2-3 in the portal. It’s definitely not over.

Well we just added Jalen Lee in the portal yesterday and at 6’5 295 Shand is big enough to play inside. Try and keep up please.

Curious how 294.78 is “good enough” for the 3rd class in the country when 4 teams currently have a higher class rating than 294.78. Miami is 4th at 294.85, but could lose McClain. Texas at #3 is 297.31.

I don’t pay attention to recruiting but I googled Ricks and apparently he’s deciding between us and Bama? If so, don’t count on us getting him.

Well, I used to pay attention to recruiting. Then I just got tired of seeing top Louisiana guys or our top 5 star targets flip to Bama last minute, every single year. It just got exhausting.
It’s much better now not giving a shite. I really had to Google who this dude was.. but nothing has changed in the recruiting world apparently. If Bama wants him, they’ll get him. Good luck to him trying to handle 7 and 8 next year. He will need it.
