How many of us that are complaining about NIL have donated to our NIL fund?

LSU trailed everyone in nil from the beginning. I think it’s a little about money and more about being late to the game in terms of how to use nil. Ole miss is straight destroying us right now!

Ole Miss has everyone donating toward their fund.

We would rather whine and complain about things rather than work towards fixing it

LSU can be competitive with NIL offerings, but it has a really hard time closing with the current coach in place.

The amount of money I give to the program is finite. If you want less for TAF, I'll give to the NIL fund but I would rather support the program overall than to just donate to individual athletes.

According to Mascona, no LSU cannot compete.

In fact one can argue that sometimes the brokest states produce the most lucrative programs.

Good to know - can we swap defensive coordinators' with one of those states?

At this point, many of us have ceased caring. We do not like what college football has become. 2024 will probably be my last with season tickets.

Every year, LSU graduates thousands of potential football fans.

Every year, some of those graduates and other fans will become season ticket holders.

Every year, some longtime fans will quit being season ticket holders.

Every year.

Every year.

In short, no.

If you've seen the numbers, you know LSU is completely fricked in an unfettered NIL era

Well we competed for the last 20 years in the $$ wars of CFB

the whole problem right now is TAF is not playing nice with the Collective - TAF doesn't want to lose their brick and mortar money and doesn't understand the game has changed

So next time TAF hits you up for donations or your opinion tell them they need to get on board the NIL train or there wont be fans in the stands they payed for

If you are donating to either, then you are helping the program

Donating to NIL is way more important than donating to TAF right now

The revenue of the athletic department and TAF is irrelevant when it comes to NIL. Can LSU compete with other schools? Of course. But if you are going to sit here and say that LSU has as much money to spend on NIL as teams like Texas, Miami, Texas A&M, etc. you are lying to yourself. LSU is deliberate with who they spend money on because they have to be. I would bet that Brian Kelly wishes he had as much money to throw around for NIL as A&M does. But that doesn't mean we can't compete.
