They require you to allow them to spy on you to join this club? Am I reading this wrong?

By clicking SUBMIT below you authorize the payment card network (i.e. Visa, Mastercard) to monitor your payment card and share your transaction details (such as date, time, amount and merchant) from purchases as required to participate in the Program as per the Terms Of Use and Privacy Policy. Debit transactions are not monitored. Your transaction data will be shared with the Program provider, Olive, and with Bayou Traditions in order to enable card linked offers, identify offers that may be of interest to you based on location, calculate round up amounts, and to provide Program notifications. You may opt-out of this transaction monitoring at any time by going to your Program settings.

They get money for advertising and they will send you discounts for things you are predicted to like based on purchase history. This is what AI is all about. The alternative is they could spam you with ads for junk you don’t want.

If you don’t think the Feds don’t already know everything you buy, you haven’t been paying attention.

We should just go back to the old days of dropping off a bag at a players door step. Straight cash homey

Thanks. One last question before I click submit. What does Round up mean? I plan to go cheap with a $20 per month payment.

You clearly don't read the fine print on most any online purchase you ever make, do you? I've venture to guess that 95% of places do the same thing.

This also is probably in relation to the “cash back” option at the select retailers they have. It has to monitor the transactions to get the percentage back.

It’s nothing new or groundbreaking.
